You are one of the fortunate to your very own leather stainless steel hip flask. You opted for the best in leather and drinking quality so why not ensure that your flask lasts a lifetime.
How to care for your flask:

When you first receive your flask, you can clean it by adding water, closing the lid/cap and shaking it several times. Then, empty the water out and repeat a couple of times. There is no need for adding any soaps or cleaning solution. Your Vluxim flask is made of stainless steel and any cleaning solution could damage the finish and isn’t necessary to clean your flask.

Turn your flask upside down and shake to completely drain all of the excess water. Lay the flask down on the counter or table to air dry with the lid/cap open. Do not place in the dishwasher to dry or clean.

When filling your flask, use the funnel included in your gift box to prevent spilling. It is recommended not to leave your favorite beverage in the flask for an extended period of time. Best to remove the liquor after a few days and then clean with water. Repeat the initial cleaning process and allow to air dry before refilling.

If you feel the need to clean your flask with something other than water, you may use a small amount of vinegar or a drop of lemon juice and water. Cap the flask, shake a few times and then empty out the cleaning solution. Rinse with clean water several times and allow to air dry before refilling.

Using the lemon juice (a soft cleaning agent) should remove the taste and smell of the previous beverage.

Always store away a clean and dry flask when not being used.

Flasks are intended for Whiskey, Bourbon, Rum and Brandy.

Vodka and Gin are not recommended but are acceptable

Spirits considered to be cocktails containing sugars, syrups, creams and fruit juices are harmful to your stainless steel flask. Sugary and/or acid drinks may taint/corrode the metal inside the flash. Even if you wash the flask immediately after use, your favorite Whiskey, Bourbon, Rum or Brandy may not taste the way it should.

It is best to use the flask as intended. Bring your own chaser/mix to add once the liquor has been poured from the flask.

With proper care, your genuine leather stainless steel flask should last for decades.
